Nigeria is witnessing a surge in major infrastructure developments, with landmark projects set to
transform the country’s real estate and transportation sectors.

Fourth Mainland Bridge: One of Africa’s Longest Bridges Underway
Construction has begun on the Fourth Mainland Bridge in Lagos, a 38-kilometer dual
carriageway aimed at easing severe traffic congestion. Once completed, the bridge will be the
second-longest in Africa. The project includes multiple interchanges, toll plazas, and lanes for
Bus Rapid Transit (BRT). It is expected to be completed within four years and will generate an
estimated 5,000 jobs.

Lagos Arena: Nigeria’s Largest Indoor Event Center Nears Completion
In Lekki, the Lagos Arena is taking shape as the country’s largest indoor arena. Set to open in
December 2025, the ₦100 million facility will seat up to 12,000 spectators. A collaboration
between the Nigeria Sovereign Investment Authority and private investors, the arena is
expected to become a top destination for international concerts, sporting events, and
entertainment.
