One of the flagship projects is the 68-kilometre Green Line Rail, which will run from Marina
to the Lekki Free Trade Zone. The project is part of the state’s multimodal transport strategy
and is currently the top infrastructure item in the 2025 budget with over ₦1.05 trillion
allocated.
Meanwhile, the Red Line Rail (Marina to Agbado) is now operational with commuters
enjoying reduced travel time. The Blue Line Rail, which was partially commissioned in 2023,

improve goods transportation efficiency.

foreign direct investment (FDI) to extend its fibre-optic duct infrastructure by an additional
2,700 kilometres, boosting internet penetration and digital inclusion. With the existing
3,000km network, the initiative supports smart-city surveillance systems and real-time traffic
management.
In addition, four data centres are currently under construction, with the state attracting over
$1.2 billion in digital infrastructure investments over the last five years.
Over 1,100 Roads Rehabilitated, Bridges Completed: Since 2023, the state has rehabilitated

Upgrades on the Lagos-Badagry Expressway to a ten-lane smart corridor featuring Bus
Rapid Transit (BRT) and rail systems are ongoing. Simultaneously, the Eti-Osa–Lekki–Epe
Expressway is receiving reinforced concrete upgrades to enhance road durability.
Healthcare and Public Facilities Near Completion

Abu Dhabi Ports to develop logistics, industrial, and ICT hubs. Industrial layouts in Ikeja,
Ilupeju, Oshodi-Isolo, Ikorodu, and Amuwo-Odofin are also being upgraded to foster
industrial expansion and job creation.
